February, 2001
Dear Viewers,

February begins our Lenten journey starting Wednesday 28. This month is a time to pray and reflect on care of our mind, body and spirit. "A heart at peace gives life to the body"..(PROV.14:30). Please think about a regular exercise program, consult with your health care provider, eat a balance diet, check your blood pressure regularly, limit salt intake, control your weight, no smoking and use stress reducing strategies.(www.justmove.org/home.cfm).

In PSALM 51:10-12, it is reflected,"Create in me a pure heart, o'Lord and renew in me a steadfast spirit within me". This Lent offers us the time to nourish our spirits. We can care for our spirits by praying, reading the Bible or other devotions, and attending the church of your choice.

I pray that all who read this newsletter have a Lenten experience of peace of heart, mind and spirit.
