Dear Viewers,
Peace to all in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. December is the TIME to celebrate the Advent of Christmas. It is the birth of Jesus Christ and the first coming. It is a time of rejoicing. It is a time of hope. It is a time of expectation and looking forward. How does one define time? Webster's Dictionary defines time as every moment there has and ever will be before, during and after to a person's life. Time is referenced frequently in the Bible. "In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth..." (Genesis 1:1). |

Advent
begins a new liturgical year. It is the coming of Jesus. It also is
the time of Christmas celebration. It is the time of coming home.
Coming, means to arrive, appear, happen, occur, and to meet to name a
few.
Home, is defined as a place where one lives or was born, reared,
or just the place thought of as home (Webster's Dictionary). Why and
when do people come home? People are looking forward to many great
expectations in coming home. They come home for Christmas and other
Holidays, for family, from the hospital, college, war, trips,
remembering childhood memories, and many come home to the church of
their choice. What do they find when they come home? Many find peace,
comfort, memories and a time to visit and a time of reconciliation with
family, friends and God. It is a time to share gifts.
They look forward and hope for the next coming home to family and
friends. The one who gives this testimony says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen, !
Come, Lord Jesus! (Rev 22:20).
Let's all pray for peace of mind, body and soul. Celebrate the Immaculate Conception December 8, 2004 and Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12, 2004. Blessed Christmas to all. | |
