Dear Viewers,

In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
"And the Word was made flesh" (John 1:14). Jesus had a Divine Nature and a Human Nature. Jesus experienced all the stages of life. He had compassion. He took our infirmities and bore our diseases in His healings (Mt.8:17). He suffered and died for our salvation.

Nationally, September is recognized as Prostate Cancer Month. Prostate Cancer is the second leading cause of death of cancer in males in the United States. In America a male dies every 18 minutes from Prostate Cancer. One in every six men will get Prostate Cancer in his life sometime. African American men are at a great risk for this disease. The incidence of Prostate Cancer in African American men is 60% higher than in white males and double the mortality rate. Every man over fifty years should make sure to be screened annually for the disease. In the decade of the 1990s, Prostate Cancer killed around 350,000 men.(National Prostate Cancer Coalition). There are some interventions that men can take to decrease these statistics. They are: see your health care provider to be examined and learn about the disease and the help that is available. Before the advent of early detection through PSA screening, three quarters of Prostate Cancer was found in the later stages making the disease hard to treat and /or cure. Since the PSA screening the cases of Prostate Cancer are now found much earlier and give men a better chance for a cure.(NPCC). "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord"(Jeremiah 30:17a).
