Dear Viewers,
Peace to all in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."(Romans 15:13) This month let us concentrate on hope. Webster's Dictionary defines hope as a belief that is obtainable; trust, and reliance. |
|
|
Hope is a
desired expectation that is obtainable. In today's world, many people
are suffering from chronic and acute health problems, depression,
anxiety. addictions and mental illness. Even though the times seem
impossible, many people hang onto hope or their faith in God. Hope is a
theological virtue. Hope is caring. Hope is love. Hope is healing.
Hope is perseverance. Hope is waiting. Hope is related to faith when
people experience the relationship to a higher power as God. Hope as
researched, increases wound healing. Hope is survival and victorious.
Hope is life and eternal salvation.
How is hope supported? A hoping person feels self determined and autonomous through prayer, presence of another person, positive thinking, sense of humor, belief that life has meaning, counseling and belief that you are a person of value and self worth. "Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord." (Psalm 31:34) | |
