Dear Viewers,
Peace to all in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is the Year of the Eucharist. The word eucharist comes from the Greek word 'eucharistia' which means thanksgiving. John 6:54 states, "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day." Happy Easter to all. March is also known for National Kidney, Eye Donor, and Multiple Sclerosis Education and Awareness Month. |

Webster's Dictionary defines thanksgiving as the act of rendering thanks
especially to God and a prayer expressing gratitude. Roget's Thesaurus
defines thanksgiving as grace, prayer and praise. The eucharist is
thanksgiving to God. It is the spiritual food and drink for the soul.
We live in thanksgiving. We give thanks for all He has given us, done
for us, for health, for country, for job, for food, for family, for our
earth, for the air we breath, for each other, and much more especially
to worship Him.
Lent is the spring practice of fasting, prayer and almsgiving. How is your lenten journey progressing that the fourth week is approaching? Easter is coming closer each day. Lent is over half accomplished. Never too late to pray and fast as Jesus did for forty days and nights in the desert. Prayer is so important for the health of our soul, mind and body. The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29). This month we celebrate St. Patrick's day on the 17th, and St Joseph's, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary, on the 19th. HAPPY EASTER! | |
