Now that we are in the beginning of the winter season with thoughts of improving our lives, let us focus on what the New Year really is. Ponder on the scripture below. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." (Ps 34:20) Saint Francis wrote, "Make me an instrument of peace."
